The Fig-leaved Hollyhock (Alcea ficifolia) is an upright, clump-forming perennial that produces yellow, red, pink, or light pink, bowl-shaped flowers arranged in clusters from June to September. Its rounded leaves are medium green. In a sunny, wind-protected location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it typically reaches a height of about 2 m and spreads to about 60 cm. The Fig-leaved Hollyhock has good frost resistance.
