The Yellow azalea 'Jolie Madame' (Rhododendron luteum) produces a veritable sea of pink flowers from mid-May to the end of May. Its deciduous foliage is medium green. In autumn, the foliage turns dark red. This upright, branching shrub usually reaches a height of 2 - 2.5 metres and a width of 2 to 2.5 metres. A semi-shady (to shady) location and humus-rich, lime-free soil create ideal conditions for healthy growth. The Yellow azalea 'Jolie Madame' is well tolerant of frost.
