The Evening primrose 'Sonnenwende' (Oenothera tetragona) is an upright perennial that forms yellow, cup-shaped flowers from June to September. Its lanceolate leaves are blue-green in colour. In a sunny location with well-drained, humus-rich, loose soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 60 cm and is approx. 40 cm wide. The Evening primrose 'Sonnenwende' is well tolerant of frost.
