The Catmint 'Washfield' (Nepeta subsessilis) is a bushy, clump-forming perennial that produces blue-violet, lip-shaped flowers arranged in whorls with a pleasant fragrance from July to September. Its egg-shaped, serrated leaves are medium green in colour. In a sunny location with well-drained soil, it usually reaches a height of around 60 cm and grows to around 50 cm wide. The Catmint 'Washfield' is well tolerant of frost.
