The Tree lavatera 'Barnsley' (Lavatera thuringiaca) is a bushy, upright perennial that produces light pink, cup-shaped flowers from July to November. Its palmate leaves are medium green in colour. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.3 m and grows to a width of approx. 80 cm. The Tree lavatera 'Barnsley' is well tolerant of frost.

Flower

Lavatera thuringiaca 'Barnsley' forms cup-shaped, light pink-coloured flowers from July. These grow to around 5 - 10 cm in size.
