The Nesselblättrige Glockenblume (Campanula trachelium) is an upright, clump-forming perennial that produces blue-violet, bell-shaped flowers arranged in clusters from July to August. Its heart-shaped leaves are medium green. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 80 cm and is approx. 40 cm wide. The Nesselblättrige Glockenblume is well tolerant of frost.

The deciduous leaves of Nesselblättrige Glockenblume are medium green, heart-shaped.

Flower

Campanula trachelium forms bell-shaped, blue-violet flowers arranged in clusters from July.

Care

- Excess water must be able to drain away easily and waterlogging should be avoided at all costs.
- A slow-release fertiliser can be used in spring. This releases the nutrients slowly and continuously so that the plant is evenly supplied over a longer period of time.
