The Monkshood 'Arendsii' (Aconitum carmichaelii) is an upright, loose perennial that forms blue, funnel-shaped flowers arranged in panicles from September to October. Its palmate leaves are dark green. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.4 m and grows to a width of approx. 40 cm. The Monkshood 'Arendsii' is well tolerant of frost.
