The Marsh cranesbill (Geranium palustre) is a loose perennial that produces magenta-coloured flowers from June to September. Its lobed leaves are medium green. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 60 cm and is approx. 35 cm wide. The Marsh cranesbill is well tolerant of frost.
