Chrysanthemum x hort.'L'Innocence'

Garden Chrysanthemum 'L'Innocence' is a bushy, upright growing perennial with a clump-forming habit. It typically reaches a height of 0.5 - 1 m and grows to about 0.45 - 0.6 m wide.

The deciduous leaves of the Garden Chrysanthemum 'L'Innocence' are grayish-green, ovate, lobed, and rough to the touch. They are deeply divided and emit a pleasant aroma.

The delicate, single flowers with a yellow center appear from September to December. They are white with a pinkish flush, especially on the outer ray florets.

Chrysanthemum x hort. 'L'Innocence' forms a shallow or clump-forming root system that spreads compactly in the soil.

Preferred location in a sunny position.

The Garden Chrysanthemum 'L'Innocence' exhibits good frost hardiness. Winter protection with mulch or brushwood is recommended in colder regions.

Normal soil. It prefers a well-drained, fresh to moist, and nutrient-rich soil.

Border and bed planting, open areas, container planting, cut flower. It provides late garden highlights in autumn and is an important food source for insects before winter.

The plant has a medium water requirement. The soil should always be kept moist, especially during the flowering period.

A long-term fertilizer can be used in spring. This releases nutrients slowly and continuously. After flowering in late autumn, the entire plant should be cut back to about 20 cm. Regular division of older clumps in spring promotes vitality.

Container plants can be planted all year round, except when the ground is frozen or during summer heat (above 30°C).
