The Garden Scented Sage 'Black Adder'® (Agastache rugosa) is an upright, clump-forming perennial that produces blue-violet, lip-shaped flowers arranged in spikes with a pleasant fragrance from July to September. Its egg-shaped, serrated, dark green leaves complement the vibrant blooms. In a sunny location with well-drained, sandy soil, it typically grows to a height of about 70 cm and a width of about 50 cm. The Garden Scented Sage 'Black Adder'® is frost-resistant in protected locations.

The summer-green leaves of the Garden Scented Sage 'Black Adder'® are dark green, egg-shaped, and serrated.

Flowers

Agastache rugosa 'Black Adder'® produces lip-shaped, blue-violet flowers arranged in spikes starting in July. These flowers emit a pleasant fragrance.

Location

Preferred location in sunny spots.
