The Wood spurge 'Purpurea' (Euphorbia amygdaloides) is a bushy, loose, winter-green perennial that produces yellow-green flowers from April to July. Its lanceolate leaves are dark red in colour. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 40 cm and is approx. 50 cm wide. The Wood spurge 'Purpurea' is well tolerant of frost.
