The Roman chamomile 'Plenum' (Chamaemelum nobile) is an upright, winter-green perennial that produces white, wheel-shaped flowers with a pleasant fragrance from June to August. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 20 cm and is approx. 35 cm wide. The Roman chamomile 'Plenum' is well tolerant of frost.

Chamaemelum nobile 'Plenum' forms double, wheel-shaped, white flowers from June. These exude a pleasant fragrance.

Preferred location in a sunny to semi-shady position.

Use

Group planting, rock garden, bee pasture, ground cover, edible, medicinal plant, scented garden

Water

Water regularly and allow the soil to dry out in the meantime.

Care

- If the plant is divided every 2-3 years and weak roots and shoots are removed, the reward is better growth and flowering vigour!
- If the plant is watered less frequently but thoroughly and penetratingly, the roots are encouraged to penetrate deeper into the soil. This helps the plant to survive periods of drought.
