Plant of the Month February 2026:
Platanus orientalis – Oriental plane tree

With a height of 25–35 m and a width of 15–20 m, this large tree is a real eye-catcher. Its oval, domed crown and spreading main branches make it a majestic solitary tree. The gray to greenish-white, flaking bark adds to its character.

A tree that brings majesty and structure to parks, avenues, or large gardens and can last for centuries.
